Ex - Dagenham player equals Lionel Messi's record
.. Ex - Dagenham winger Jodi JONES (now at Notts County) has an incredible 21 assists for this season ;

Most assists in ONE season, (top four divisions, last ten years) ...

1 - Jodi Jones - 21
2 - Kevin De Bruyne - 20
3 - Mesut Ozil - 19
3 - Harry Wilson - 19
5 - Kevin De Bruyne - 18

21 also equals Messi and Muller in Europe, with two months to play.

OK, its a bit of fun , only Notts County etc, but hats off to him for coming back from three separate and serious ACL knee injuries (despite only having two legs)

East End boy done well, ex - Senrab, etc

Thought he was destined for big things when he left Dagenham, he was a lovely little player. Been horribly unlucky with injuries.

Love a stat.

So it’s my opinion that Jones is head and shoulders above the other players on that list because he is providing the last touch to a Notts County player whereas Messi et al are providing assists to absolute top finishers.

Wasn't he in trouble with the woke brigade for thrusting his pelvis towards opposing fans a while back ?.
The likes of Billy Whitehurst would be banged up these days.

A top achievement for the the fella with that record.
